What we collect

When you shop with us, a staff member may ask for your mobile number, and you may choose to give us your name, email address and mailing address. We keep a record of your purchases so we can send your receipt, look up past purchases, and help with returns or questions. If you leave a review, we keep what you write and any photo you add.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes straight to Stripe and is never stored by RUST. If you pay by check, we may photograph the check and your ID to process it; those photos are kept privately and deleted after 90 days.

How we use it

• To send your receipt and messages about your purchase.
• To send you a link to add your details or leave a review of your visit.
• Only if you opt in: to send news about new arrivals and events, about once a month.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or personal information with anyone for their marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share information only with the services that help us run the shop (such as our card processor, email and texting providers), and only to provide those services to you, or when the law requires it.

Text messages (SMS)

We run two separate text programs, each with its own opt-in:

• Purchase texts: a link to add your details for your receipt, your receipt, and a link to review your visit. You opt in by giving your mobile number to staff at checkout after hearing our texting notice (details). No marketing.
• News texts: news about new arrivals and events, about once a month, only if you sign up separately in writing on our Get RUST texts page or check the separate news box on our customer details form.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, START to resubscribe, HELP for help, or email office@rustartandantiques.com. Full terms: SMS Terms. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emails or texts. Email office@rustartandantiques.com or ask at the counter.

Website

Our website counts visits to understand how many people stop by. It does not use advertising trackers or sell visitor data.
